Kaleidoscope Wrap

The Kaleidoscope Wrap allows you the freedom to choose the format you like best-three individual modular units can be assembled as either a vee or rectangle. The combination of lace and hand-dyed yarn creates an interesting play of pattern and colour, like a kaleidoscope.

Three square units are knit from the centre out, creating an expanding flare of lace patterning in each unit. Then the pieces are joined with crochet cord ties in a vee or rectangular shape, whichever you prefer.

NOTE: Fiddlesticks Patterns use charts.
There are detailed instructions on the garment construction, how to work the charts and special stitches, but the stitch pattern designs are all charted.

Yarn requirements:
1 skein of Fiddlesticks Knitting Country Silk yarn - a luxurious blend of 50% wool and 30% silk, with 20% nylon for strength. Approximately 800 metres / 250 grams.

Recommended for Intermediate lace knitters.

Recommended needle size:
4.5 mm (US 7) 16" and 24" circular needles
4.5 mm (US 7) set of double points, or size needed to obtain gauge
