Though book writers work very hard to offer all us perfect patterns, there can be occasional corrections. Below is a list of the corrections and sources, which I currently have.
For corrections which can be linked to on the Internet, web site addresses are provided and where publishers have e-mail addresses, you can contact them directly for a printed copy of the errata sheet. Where no Internet contact is available, please send me a self-addressed envelope along with your request and I will forward you a copy of the errata sheet.
If you have any information which you would like to contribute to the list, please Email Marsha

On Page 100 is "Watch Hill Buttondown," a man's cardigan. The written
description on page 100 for the "Moss Rib Stitch" is correct BUT the charted
information on page 101 is not. Above the Diamond Pattern is the moss rib
pattern (rows 35-37), but it's incorrect. Following the written description
works, though. (Thanks! to Mary Barnett for this correction)

Socks Socks Socks, edited by Elaine Rowley
Sideways Sox Supreme by Liz Clouthier- corrections to her sock pattern are reprinted below, with permission.
"I just realized that the pattern for the Sideways Sox Supreme (p 76) of the
Socks^3 book is missing a very important piece of info -- the ROW gauge!
Since the sock is done sideways, the row gauge is probably more important
that the stitch gauge, since it's the rows that make up the circumference of
the sock.
The row gauge in the original pattern was 11.2 rows/inch over the 4-row
stitch pattern (2 rows stockinette, 2 rows seed st). If you get 11-12
stitches/inch, that will give you a sock circumference of about 8" to 8.5".
The sock fabric does not have a lot of give in that direction so check your
row gauge!
The stitch gauge can be 6 to 7 stitches/inch over seed stitch. There is
plenty of stretch in that direction, so there's a little more flexibility in
the stitch gauge. Even going up to 7.5 stitches/inch might be OK.
Note that if you get LESS than 6 stitches/inch (say 5 or 5.5 sts/inch) the
foot of your sock will be longer." Liz Clouthier
