- Returns Policy
- I realize it can be hard to know in advance of ordering a book/yarn, if it is really the right book/yarn for you. If you do receive a book/yarn that does not live up to your expectations, you can return it for a full refund of the purchase price (plus any applicable taxes). Please notify me within a week of receipt and please e-mail me to let me know that you are making a return. Returns should be mailed off as soon as possible, and be received back to me within a month.
PLEASE MAIL RETURNS, and do not use courier services if you are outside of Canada. Couriers charge tax and brokerage, and your return will be refused.
PATTERNS are the only item that is not returnable.

- I very much respect your wishes for privacy. The information that you provide with your order, including name, address, email, credit card information and telephone numbers, is used only to process your order, and is only shared with a credit card company in order to process your order.
We neither share or sell your contact information. Information gathered - whether through your order, or on the E-mail Update Request form - is used to fulfill your order only. Confidential information (contact and charge card information) is transmitted to us using Secure Socket Layer encryption technology via

- If for any reason you are unhappy with a purchased item please refer to the Returns Policy above for information on returning goods.
If there are other aspects of our service that you would like to question please contact Marsha White for quick and friendly resolution of your concerns. If there is more than a few days delay in getting back to you, please call me on my toll free line (for US and Canada customers) at . Sometimes emails do go astray.

- Adding items to your Shopping Cart
- For each item available for sale, there are buttons at the bottom of the page to use. Your choices are:
- Canadian and International Orders in Canadian Currency
- US Orders in US Currency
For Canadian purchases only: For some items that also attract Provincial PST/HST (Patterns and yarns for example), there is also a 3rd option given. Note that the price quoted for these items includes GST of 6% and PST of 8% in the price.
- Viewing Your Shopping Cart OR Go To Checkout
- To view your Shopping Cart, OR Go To Checkout, you can click on the 'View Your Shopping Cart' OR 'Go To Checkout Now' buttons at the bottom of all book pages (or use the buttons above), or when you have actually added an item to your Cart, your Shopping Cart will display. Note that you can change the quantity for any of the items listed, as the order is not processed until you hit the Submit button at the bottom of the Checkout form.
- Shipping Information/Charges

- Where all items you have ordered are in stock and available, I ship on either the same day or my next shipping day. Shipping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I know you are eager to see your books and I will try to fill your order quickly! For any out of stock items, I will contact you by e-mail.
- Canadian Orders - Regular mail takes from 1-2 weeks, depending on the destination and Xpresspost is 2 days between major business centres.

- US Orders - Surface mail takes between 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the destination and Air Mail ranges from 1 to 1 1/2 weeks.

ALSO NOTE: If your order weight is quite light for the total $ value, I will decrease the cost of shipping charges quoted. Please feel free to contact me first for a shipping quote before placing your order.
- International orders shipping charges are quoted separately and are based on the weight and destination of the package. When you submit your order, shipping charges will display as $0. After you have submitted your order through the Shopping Cart page, I will calculate send you an e-mail with the costs. Your order will not be shipped until you confirm back that the shipping costs are OK
Please also check with your own countries customs department to find out if you will be charged any duty or taxes on goods for the $ value you are purchasing - best not to have any unexpected surprises!
- Gift Certificates have no shipping charges. When the recipient uses their Gift Certificate, the value will be applied towards the total cost of the purchase (ie goods plus shipping plus any applicable taxes).

I accept both Visa and Mastercard payments and you can securely send this information to us on your order form. Credit card information is encrypted and safely transmitted with your order. If you prefer to phone or fax your credit card information, please contact Marsha White at Toll Free , or by Fax .
Attention US Customers:
All charge card sales to US customers are now processed in US $. All US charge card sales are processed through a US bank for Visa and Mastercard, so there are NO conversions from Cdn to US $ on your charge card statement.
PLEASE NOTE: When you have requested ' Checkout Now', a list of 'Secure Order Forms' will display for you to choose from. When you have selected your choice of payment, you will notice that the 'Lock' in the bottom left hand corner is locked. It is the 'Check Out Form' where you complete your payment information that is Secure - ie the information entered is encrypted when you submit your order and your data is safely protected.
Once you have placed your first order, you may also request in the comments section of the order to have your card # kept on file for future purchases.
- Other Payment Choices
You can also elect to pay your order by Money Order, or Cheque. For International Orders, payment must be made either by Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard), or Money Order in either US or Canadian Funds.
- Processing Your Order

When you are ready to have your order processed, go to the 'View Your Shopping Cart' page, or 'Go To Checkout Now':
- Verify that the items selected are what you want to purchase.
- Change any quantities if required and click on the 'Change Qty' button for that item.
- If you wish to delete any items, change the quantity to 0 and click on the 'Change Qty' button for that item.
- If you wish to change your shipping options a link is provided for you to do this.
- Note that only Canadian Residents pay GST - 7%. The GST will be noted at the side of the order, but is not included in the total until you go to the 'Check Out Now' form - you will be asked to confirm that you are from Canada before you go to the Checkout.
