- Returns Policy
- I realize it can be hard to know in advance of ordering a book/yarn, if it is really right for you.
- Books and yarn may be returned.
- Patterns are NOT returnable.
- Email Marsha first that you are making a return.
- Return within a week of receipt of your order.
- PLEASE MAIL RETURNS, and DO NOT USE COURIER SERVICES if you are outside of Canada. Couriers charge tax and brokerage, and your return will be refused.
- When charges are processed
- Charge cards are processed as items are mailed out to you.
- When you place your order our secure shopping cart collects your charge card information
- NO CHARGES are processed at that time, it is all done when the order is mailed
- Backordered items that are shipped separately are charged to your card when they are mailed out.
- Adding items to your Shopping Cart
- For each item there are purchase boxes at the bottom of the page to use. Choices are:
- Canadian orders in Canadian Currency
- US or International Orders in US Currency
For Canadian purchases only: For some items that also attract HST (Patterns, yarns and Addi needles), there is also a 3rd box option displayed. Prices quoted INCLUDE HST in the price. When your order is processed the HST/GST is listed separately. BC = 12%; AB, SK, MB, PEI = 5%; ON, NB, NL = 13%; NS = 15%.

- The above buttons are displayed at the bottom of all sale pages
- You can change the quantity for any of the items listed in your cart
- To complete the sale, click the Submit button at the bottom of the Checkout form.
- Shipping Information/Charges

- Where all items ordered are in stock, I ship on either the same day or my next shipping day.
- Shipping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Canadian Orders - Regular mail takes from 1-2 weeks, depending on the destination
- Xpresspost is 2 days between major business centres.
- HST applies to shipping charges for delivery addresses BC, ON, NB, NS, and NL.
- Provinces not subject to HST are charged GST (5%)on shipping charges.
- PLEASE NOTE: If your order weight is quite light for the total $ value, (usually patterns and yarns) I will decrease the cost of shipping charges quoted. Please feel free to contact me first for a shipping quote before

- US Orders - Air Mail from 1 to 1 1/2 weeks depending on the destination. Expedited Air mail is from 4 to 6 business days depending on destination, and has a tracking #.
- Single patterns are mailed for 2.50 US

- International orders shipping charges are quoted separately and are based on the weight and destination of the package. When you submit your order, shipping charges will display as $0. After you have submitted your order through the Shopping Cart page, I will calculate send you an e-mail with the costs. Your order will not be shipped until you confirm back that the shipping costs are OK
Please also check with your own countries customs department to find out if you will be charged any duty or taxes on goods for the $ value you are purchasing - best not to have any unexpected surprises!
- Gift Certificates have no shipping charges. When the recipient uses their Gift Certificate, the value will be applied towards the total cost of the purchase (ie goods plus shipping plus any applicable taxes).
- Payment Options
 
- PayPal payment
- PayPal is available in US FUNDS ONLY.
- PayPal puts a hold on funds, but I do the final 'capture'.
- For light orders or partial orders, where shipping is reduced, the order $ totals are adjusted before I finalize the charges.
- Credit Card Payment
- Visa and Mastercard payments are securely encrypted and safely transmitted with your order.
- Alternatively you can phone or fax your credit card information, please contact Marsha White at Toll Free 1-888-860-3338.
- Our secure shopping cart collects charge card information, but NO CHARGES are processed at that time
- Charges are processed manually as orders are mailed out.
- Charges are processed in either Cdn or US $, as per the items coded Cdn- or US-.
- If there are backordered items that are shipped separately (and you decide this ie to ship an order complete or as available), the backordered items are charged to your card when they are mailed out.
- Processing Your Order

When you are ready to have your order processed, go to the 'View Your Shopping Cart' page, or 'Go To Checkout Now':
- Verify that the items selected are what you want to purchase.
- Change any quantities if required and click on the 'Change Qty' button for that item.
- If you wish to delete any items, change the quantity to 0 and click on the 'Change Qty' button for that item.
- If you wish to change your shipping options a link is provided for you to do this.
- Note that only Canadian Residents pay HST or GST . The HST or GST will be noted at the side of the order, but is not included in the total until you go to the 'Check Out Now' form - you will be asked to confirm that you are from Canada before you go to the Checkout.
- Privacy Policy
- I very much respect your wishes for privacy. The information that you provide with your order, including name, address, email, credit card information and telephone numbers, is used only to process your order, and is only shared with a credit card processing company in order to process your order.
We neither share or sell your contact information. Confidential information (contact and charge card information) is transmitted to us using Secure Socket Layer encryption technology via Americart Shopping Cart.
NOTE We will not provide third parties with your data without your express permission.
Log Files
Like many other Web sites, www.needleartsbookshop.com makes use of log
files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol
( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ),
date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze
trends, administer the site, track user's movement around the site, and
gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such
information are not linked to any information that is personally
identifiable.

www.needleartsbookshop.com does use cookies to store information about
visitors preferences, record user-specific information on which pages
the user access or visit, customize Web page content based on visitors
browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their
